Willow is a very affectionate little girl with the most adorable underbite. Give her a chance and she's in your lap on snuggled up next to you on the bed. She is currently around 60 lbs and is 15-20 lbs underweight, and there is a good chance she has had a litter of puppies at some point. She is very food and affection motivated which is no surprise as underweight as she is. It will take a while to get her up to weight but we've already made progress. We are working on both house training (almost there) and crate training. She does well in her crate but needs some encouragement to go in for now, or maybe she just knows that it's just one more way she can get a treat from you! She is comfortable enough now in her foster home to start playing with my dogs and her foster sister Izzy, and so far she has gotten along with everybody. If need be we can cat test Willow. Training is slow as she is so fixated on food that she has trouble focusing on her foster dad as the words TREAT TREAT TREAT just scroll through her mind. From the looks of it, this girl has had a pretty rough life. Like most rotties, she is very resilient and will bounce back, physically and mentally, in no time. All Rottweiler Hearts Rescue dogs are kept in foster homes where they learn basic house manners and training. Every dog is spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped.
