"OK everybody - first things first - check out how handsome I am! My foster mom tells me I'm a looker every day and I keep telling her I know I know! My name is Deogee - now I know what you are thinking. Deogee? As in D-O-G? Couldn't a rescue be a bit more creative? Well, I used to have a home with my best friend, and he gave me my name. My best friend was so good to me that RHR decided to let me keep my name as a reminder of my past owner and so I always remember that I have been loved, even though things have been rough recently. My best friend had to go away for a while, so I had to come and stay with my new foster mom. I am so excited to have a big backyard to play fetch in, because fetch is awesome, but I am less happy to not be able to sleep in bed with my human and get lots of attention every second of every day! I know my foster mom is busy so I just stand and watch her work, but every once in a while I can't help myself and I wiggle my way into her lap so I get some kisses. I know I will never find another human like my first one, but I can't wait to find my next best friend to play fetch with, and go to the park, and share ice cream cones, and go for car rides (with me in the front seat of course), and do EVERYTHING together! Deogee is a fantastic dog who ran into rough times, through no fault of his own, and now he is looking for a new home. This is not a dog for a first-time owner as he is big, strong, and VERY strong-willed. He will not hesitate to challenge you at every corner, but once you establish who is in charge, he is eager to learn and please. He is used to being a one-owner dog and he thrives in that situation. He is good with other dogs and does not seem to be too interested in cats at Petsmart, but we would need to check that before placing him in a home with cats. He can be particular about the people he likes, and when he likes you he is quick to give kisses! And once he is on the couch, you had better just realize that you are going to be cuddling with a dog watching TV that night as he has no intention of moving. All Rottweiler Hearts Rescue dogs are kept in foster homes where they learn basic house manners and training. Every dog is spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped.
