Rottweiler - Apollo-adoption Pending! - Large - Adult - Male
Strong but gentle enough to pull the sun across the sky! That was the inspiration behind naming this boy Apollo. He came to us from up in Virginia where the SPCA was devastated to learn that he is heartworm positive, and they do not have the funds to treat him. So, they contacted us and we made the drive to VA to meet this boy. Apollo is a bit shy and is learning that ear scratches are awesome and playing with his foster siblings is a blast. He gets along well with all dogs an doesn't even mind the cats. And, as you can see, he is quite the looker! Apollo will bgin his heartworm treatment soon so he can start his new life with a family that will cherish him and treat him like a king. All Rottweiler Hearts Rescue dogs are kept in foster homes where they learn basic house manners and training. Every dog is spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped.
