He is a very affectionate and companionable cat who enjoys sitting by you as you work at the computer or read, or stretching out in a sunbeam by the window to watch the neighborhood happenings. He is curious and active without demanding to be played with or entertained. Milo is simply plain old-fashioned good company. He would be happiest in a loving low-key home that does not have many other pets or very lively children.Animal History: Milo and his brother Alex were adopted as pets for a high school girl. After she left for college some years ago, their care fell to her mother..who is highly allergic. Because the mother could not touch or play, or even be in the room with the cats, Milo and Alex grew depressed, over-ate and grew timid. The two were recently returned to IAR over concerns for Alex's extreme weight gain, and the family's allergies.
