Professionally Trained Adult Male AKC/CKC Shiba Inu in Durham, North Carolina For Sale

We are a dog training facility and sometimes have dogs we have already trained ready for their forever families. This is Shifu. He is an adult male Shiba Inu. He is purebred, AKC and CKC registered, but he is neutered and not sold as a stud. He is also up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, parasite free and weighs about 18lbs (so he is the perfect size dog!). Shifu has completed our basic obedience and manners training and is a good dog. He walks well on leash, comes when called, knows sit/down, knows not to jump and sit to be petted and loves attention. He is well socialized with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, but he is not too fond of obnoxious puppies. However, he does LOVE cats, will let them rub against him, lay with him, play with him, and everything (I have a video of that too). Shifu is a very independent dog (typical of his breed), but he does love to be rubbed on and likes to be with his people. In his previous home he was an outside dog all the time, and while he adjusted very well to life indoors he does love the outside. He has been around our chickens and doesn't chase them while you are looking but I wouldn't leave him unattended with them. He has also been around our toddler and he does very well with him, so a home with kids is not a problem! He would be well suited for many different lifestyles, anything from a family, to a single person who is not home all the time.
